All resources are included and that includes the fabric!
What will I learn on this course?
Learners will:
1. Use a ruler to accurately draw measurements onto paper to make a pattern.
2. Use addition to add the correct seam allowances where required.
3. Design a T-shirt using addition or subtraction to allow for ‘wearing ease’.
Learners will also:
- Cut out their T-shirt from supplied fabrics, using addition and multiplication to work out fabric needs.
- Sew the T-shirt using overlockers and sewing machines.
- Leave the course with their very own T-shirt.
- Recap previous knowledge of measuring, maths functions & overlocker use.
- Build on previous knowledge to achieve a better fit.
- Measure themselves correctly and accurately and use division on those measurements to find what is needed for the pattern process.
Is this course suitable for me?
